公司大樓地下室，竟然藏著一整座「行李箱博物館」！韓國媒體 KOREA WAVE 報導，韓國衣蘭集團（E-Land）10 月 28 日同時拿下兩項金氏世界紀錄：「世界最大的旅行箱收藏」和「世界最大的書擋收藏」，數量分別是 7,816 個和 4,674 個。

Korean media KOREA WAVE reported that on October 28, South Korea’s E-Land Group won two Guinness World Records at once: the largest collection of suitcases, with 7,816, and the largest collection of bookends, with 4,674.

一家企業同時用兩種收藏被認證為世界紀錄，相當少見。當天，位在首爾江西區麻谷洞的衣蘭全球研發中心，也首度向媒體公開地下收藏庫。
EN It is very rare for one company to set world records with two kinds of collections at the same time. On that day, E-Land’s Global R&D Center in Magok-dong, Gangseo District, Seoul, also opened its basement storage to the media for the first time.

像圖書館一樣的行李箱書架
走進收藏庫，像圖書館書架一樣的收納櫃上，整齊排滿了不同年代、不同用途的旅行箱。從人們還坐馬車、搭船旅行的時代，到交通工具發達後不斷改變造型的產品都有。其中最吸睛的是附有衣架和抽屜、可以直接掛衣服的「衣櫃行李箱」。另一邊，做成動物和人物造型的書擋也擺得滿滿的，把撐書的功能和裝飾性結合在一起。
EN Inside the storage room, shelves like those in a library are neatly filled with suitcases from different times and for different uses. Some come from the days when people traveled by horse carriage and ship, and others show how designs changed as transportation developed. The most eye-catching is a “wardrobe trunk” with hangers and drawers, so clothes can hang inside. On the other side, bookends shaped like animals and people fill the shelves, mixing usefulness with decoration.

衣蘭從 1995 年開始收藏，最初是身為服飾企業，想自己蒐集設計研究需要的資料。後來範圍擴大到音樂、電影、運動和美術，現在的收藏品已經超過 100 萬件。
EN E-Land started collecting in 1995. As a fashion company, it first wanted to gather its own materials for design research. Later, the collection grew to include music, movies, sports, and art. Today it has more than one million items.

收藏不是目的，是為了做設計
衣蘭表示，收藏本身不是目的，而是要研究過去的設計，用在現在的商品開發上。光是時尚研究所的相關資料就有大約 30 萬件，包括美國西部服飾、常春藤名校的夾克、軍服等，可以按主題研究各年代的版型、顏色和材質。
EN E-Land says collecting is not the goal. The aim is to study past designs and use them to develop today’s products. Its fashion research center alone has about 300,000 related items, including American Western wear, Ivy League jackets, and military uniforms, so designers can study the shapes, colors, and materials of each era by theme.

除了衣服，衣蘭還收藏了大約 1,100 台打字機，以及縫紉機、電影海報和戲服、小說初版書等。打字機收藏也正在挑戰金氏世界紀錄。這些收藏也被拿來辦展覽，衣蘭博物館從 2020 年以來已在外部辦了 25 次展覽，累計吸引 110 萬人參觀，還會在旗下飯店和餐廳展出，讓空間更有看頭。
EN Besides clothes, E-Land also owns about 1,100 typewriters, as well as sewing machines, movie posters and costumes, and first editions of novels. The typewriter collection is also trying for a Guinness World Record. The items are used in exhibitions, too. Since 2020, the E-Land Museum has held 25 outside exhibitions with a total of 1.1 million visitors, and it also shows items in the group’s hotels and restaurants.

平昌冬奧期間，衣蘭還在旗下的肯辛頓飯店展出奧運相關收藏；部分「Ashley」餐廳也展示電影戲服和海報。
EN During the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, E-Land showed Olympic items at its Kensington Hotel. Some of its “Ashley” restaurants also display movie costumes and posters.
