因為這是莽仔生下的第六個孩子，網友都親切地叫牠「莽小六」。見面會上，園方當場公開稱重，也揭曉了大家猜了一百天的性別：是個可愛的女生。

園方用三個數字整理了莽小六的成長：出生 187 克、滿月 1,285 克、百天 6,400 克。從需要被捧在手心的小不點，到能穩穩趴在秤上的小傢伙，一百天裡體重翻了三十多倍。

這次的見面會不只是讓大家看寶寶，還安排了科普環節，包括現場稱重、公布性別，以及育幼觀察直播，讓保育員把平常的觀察紀錄分享給螢幕前的觀眾。重慶動物園表示，莽仔從懷孕到產後狀態都很穩定，母性特別強，寶寶出生後一直由媽媽親自哺乳，飼養團隊則把重點放在環境和健康監測上。

像毛絨玩具一樣，趴在墊子上到處聞
稱重結束後，莽小六被放在爬行墊上，到處嗅嗅聞聞、東張西望，圓滾滾的樣子就像一隻毛絨玩具熊，讓現場民眾直呼太可愛。
